Color blocking was a fashion trend that rocked 2011. Colours such as pink and yellow were strategically placed to add contrast in a unique and fashion forward way.  It could mean a top, pants or skirt or even handbag and shoes that are put together as a blocks of solid colour to create fun spring (America) outfit. It can be used with monotone colours, neon colours or more neutral colours that compliment each other.
